1. Services Overview

UnknownDev provides software development services, consulting, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) products, including but not limited to UBooks and related platforms.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time, with or without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

2. User Accounts

To access certain services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably suspect are being used fraudulently.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, data, or other users' accounts

4. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, designs, and other materials made available through our services are the property of UnknownDev (Pty) Ltd or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our services for their intended purpose
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our software or content without our express written consent
• Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation to you

5. Payments and Billing

Certain services require payment, including subscription-based SaaS products:

• Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless otherwise stated
• You agree to pay all applicable fees associated with your account and selected plan
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or permanent termination of services
• All payments are processed through authorised third-party payment providers
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

6. Third-Party Services

Our services may integrate with or depend on third-party platforms and providers. UnknownDev is not responsible for:

• The availability, performance, or reliability of third-party services
• Any loss or damage arising from third-party provider failures or changes
• Third-party terms of service or privacy practices

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UnknownDev shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions, outages, or system failures

All services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold UnknownDev, its directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of our services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Any unlawful activity conducted through your account
• Your infringement of any third-party rights

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at our sole discretion, including for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Non-payment of fees
• Misuse or abuse of our services
• Fraudulent or illegal activity

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
