Web application development
Web application development that performs
A web application that only feels fast on a fibre line and a new laptop is not finished. We build web apps in React and .NET and hold them to a measured performance budget on a mid-range Android phone over mobile data - because that is what most South African users are actually on.
Fast on a mid-range phone, on a bad connection
Customer & partner portals
Self-service account areas, document access, order and application tracking - reducing the volume of calls and emails your team fields every day.
Dashboards & reporting
Operational dashboards that load in under a second and answer a specific question, rather than a wall of charts nobody reads twice.
Performance budgets
Core Web Vitals treated as acceptance criteria, not an afterthought. Server-rendered or prerendered where it matters, so the first paint does not wait on JavaScript.
Accessibility as standard
Semantic markup, keyboard navigation, screen-reader labelling and WCAG-level colour contrast built in from the first component.
You probably need this if…
- Your current app is slow on mobile and users tell you so
- Customers phone in for information they could look up themselves
- The front end and back end were built by different people who never spoke
- You need a portal but do not want a CMS pretending to be one
What you get
- Component library and design tokens
- Responsive implementation from 320px up
- Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals report per release
- Accessibility audit against WCAG 2.2 AA
- Analytics and error monitoring wired up
Everything we produce is yours, including the discovery document - whether or not the build goes ahead.
Web application development: common questions
Do you design as well as build?
Yes. We work from a design system rather than one-off page mockups, so the product stays visually coherent as it grows. If you already have a designer or a brand guide, we build to it.
What stack do you use for web applications?
React with Vite on the front end and ASP.NET Core on the back end, with PostgreSQL or SQL Server behind it. We pick boring, well-supported technology on purpose - it is still going to be maintainable in five years.
Web applications: tell us what you need
Send a short description of the problem. You will get a straight answer on whether this is the right fit and what it would take.
A reply from a developer. Not a sales pipeline. The person who reads your message is the person who would do the work.
An honest answer on fit. If an off-the-shelf product solves your problem better than a custom build, we will tell you which one.
No obligation. A first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Discovery output is yours either way.
